Arrival Day
Transfer from Cancún Airport to Playa del Carmen
Welcome to your Yucatán tour! Upon your arrival at Cancún International Airport, our transfer partner will be waiting for you to take you to your accommodation in Playa del Carmen. The hotel is located near the lively pedestrian area and just a few minutes' walk from the white sandy beach of the Riviera Maya. Depending on your arrival time, you can spend the afternoon shopping or exploring the area before your Mexico tour begins the next day.

Day 1
Valladolid Market, Refreshing Cenote Swim, and Mérida
After breakfast at 8:00 AM, your German-speaking tour guide will greet you in the hotel lobby. Your luggage will be packed into the minibus, and your journey begins towards Valladolid, a charming small town with colorful facades and colonial flair. Here, you’ll visit the city market and the center of Valladolid. Next, you’ll head to one of the impressive cenotes (freshwater sinkholes), where you can take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water – remember to pack your swimwear in your hand luggage! After enjoying a lunch of local specialties, you will continue to Mérida, the historic capital of the state of Yucatán. There, you'll check into your hotel and end the day with a short city tour.

Day 2
Ruins of Uxmal, Cocoa Museum, and Travel via Izamal to Chichén Itzá
Today, your Yucatán tour takes you to the Maya site of Uxmal, one of the region's most important archaeological sites. Uxmal is located in the Puuc region ("place of hills"), known for its unique Maya architecture. After a detailed tour, you will visit the nearby Cocoa Museum "Choco-Story," where you will dive into the history of cocoa. The journey continues to Izamal, the "Yellow City," once the capital of the Itzá Maya. There, you will visit the impressive Franciscan monastery built on the ruins of a Mayan temple. In the evening, you will arrive at Chichén Itzá, where you’ll stay overnight and be one of the first visitors to the famous archaeological site the next morning.

Day 3
Chichén Itzá and Journey to the Caribbean in Tulum
The day begins with an in-depth visit to the ruins of Chichén Itzá, one of the most famous Mayan sites in Mexico. The impressive Kukulkan Pyramid, dedicated to the Mayan god and prophet, is the highlight of the site and attracts thousands of visitors each year. After the tour, you will continue to Tulum, where you’ll visit the last Mayan site of your journey, spectacularly perched on cliffs above the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Afterward, you will be transferred to your beach hotel at the Riviera Maya. Guests departing that evening will be taken directly to Cancún Airport. (B)
